also it is difficult to start out and so many people are ahead of you that it's hard to advance. I started out as the light man at Exedra and then became dj there. Now I'm playing records at Traxx. want to say a special Thank You to Larry Petrasek for all the help and encouragement he's given me.
wild on oldies like "Love Child" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough.")

Donna Summer: "The WandIerer"--This single is from Donna's forthcoming album of the same name. She is still produced by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellote, but has switched to Warner Bros. records (probably due to her lawsuit against Casablanca). Casablanca has just Donna album from 1977-80. released Walk Away, a best of
Fame (Original Soundtrack; RSO) --The title track "Fame" is often requested here at Traxx. I saw Irene Cara perform this song in NYC. Wonderful. "Hot Lunch Jam" is also good but doesn't go over well with the dancers here.
On "The Wanderer" her voice is so deep it doesn't sound like
her. Only the few times her voice goes high can you tell it's her. The music is disco, but the lyrics sound more like rock. Disappointing.
Viola Wills: "Gonna Get Along With You Now" (Sugarhill) and, Viola Wills: "If You Could Read My Mind/Somebody's Eyes" (Ariola)-All three of these songs are on top. "If You Could Read My Mind," written by Gordon Lightfoot, needs to be played at the right time, but could go over really big.
"Red Light" by Linda Clifford is Oven Productions.
also requested a lot. Linda has a new Ip call I'm Yours which also contains the song "Red Light." Fame is definitely recommended to buy. Beautiful
Sylvester: Sell My Soul (Fantasy/Honey Records)--The song we're playing at Traxx from this
album is "Fever." Unfortunately though, this is only a mediocre record. Sylvester's music used to be so upbeat. All of the tracks on this Ip are of a medium tempo. It's just not like him. Oh well, ya can't like them all.
Gayle Adams: Gayle Adams (Prelude)--A good album. "Your Love Is a Life Saver" is #1 in N.Y. "You Brought It On Yourself" is hot here. "Plain Out of Luck" is also a very good cut.
(Prediction: Look for possible Motown revival. A lot of Motown music out now. And dancers go
